This bespoke trip is designed for travelers who might be familiar with the central region of Costa Rica but are looking to venture farther up the coast and experience what the Guanacaste region has to offer.
Each day, you’ll embark on a different and exciting activity that makes this part of Costa Rica one that shouldn’t be missed. Perfect for singles, couples, and families, we plan four days of outdoor excitement—all you have to do is show up. Whether it’s exploring the area’s natural wonders by jetski, on horseback, on a zipline, or fishing offshore for sailfish or inshore for roosterfish, we have you covered for the most popular and exciting activities Costa Rica is known for.
This is the perfect trip to introduce your friends or fam to some fishing while at the same time enjoying the beautiful jungles, beaches, and secluded wonders found around Flamingo in Guanacaste. With world-class amenities, delicious cuisine, shopping, and plenty of opportunities for adventure and relaxation, this trip will create memories that you’ll remember season after season.
Guests arrive at Liberia Guanacaste Airport (LIR) and are transported to Marina Flamingo for welcome and check-in. Unwind by the rooftop pool, explore the Marina Village, or walk to the beach. A private, four-course dinner will be served.
Each fun-filled day is planned for you. Focused on inshore and offshore fishing, plus a bonus adventure for four days of activities this region is known for, allowing you to unwind and connect with nature in one of the most ecologically diverse regions in the world. Fishing in Costa Rica is some of the best you’ll find, and we take advantage of the season with only the finest captains, crews, and outfitters.
After Chef Christian prepares us breakfast, we’ll check out and be transported back to Liberia Guanacaste Airport (LIR) for return flights.
Costa Rica is known for its calm seas and abundant sea life, so it’s the perfect place to catch your first-ever billfish, roosterfish, or even check another species off your bucket list. Nestled between Nicaragua and Panama, some of Guanacaste’s best billfishing is found in July. Two of our most experienced staffers will introduce fishing to those who’ve never done it before in a supportive and fun environment or accompany you on your daily experience.
While the green season runs May through November, Guanacaste’s weather is mostly sunny with isolated and short late-afternoon showers, just in time to clear before dinner. This zone is unique to the country and is hospitable to baitfish and gamefish. When compared to the southern zone of Puerto Jimenez and Golfito, and even the central Pacific coast at this time of year, Costa Rica’s northern zone is the driest when it comes to rainfall during the green season..
With friendly crews and the finest fishing equipment available, fishing here is a blast. Lunch, snacks, and drinks are served on board to keep you nourished and hydrated. Fishing days begin around 7 a.m. and end just in time for happy hour.
Located approximately one hour from the airport, Marina Flamingo is a brand-new, world-class vibrant community filled with high-end amenities, restaurants and shops, right on the waterfront. Our exclusive villa residences, each with a different floor plan and laundry room, scream first class with the spacious, modern and elegant designs, daily maid service, private fitness center, rooftop pool, and breathtaking Pacific Ocean views.
Convenience and comfort are embedded in the Marina Flamingo lifestyle. From an on-site private medical center, lab and pharmacy to plenty of five-star dining options, you’ll never want to leave.
To ensure this trip goes off without a hitch, we’ll be assisted by Miss Morgan Osborne, Marina Flamingo’s Director of Hospitality. But honestly, in this slice of tropical paradise, any day is a good day.
